About MeWelcome to Counseling for Abundant Life. My name is Don Hanback. I have been a licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia since 1998. I have worked with adults who struggle with various forms of addiction, and behavioral health problems for over 25 years. My counseling style has been described as steady, and easygoing. I believe it is important for individuals to to experience a safe environment to develop a therapeutic relationship in which they can explore, and overcome life's challenges.
The name of this business was taken from John 10:10, in which Jesus says we can have abundant life. I offer faith based counseling for those who have a Christian worldview. I also work with individuals from other worldview perspectives.
